Senior Business Account Manager

 

The WebStore team at Amazon manages the relationships and operations with our large enterprise sellers such as M&S. We are currently seeking a candidate with significant experience in e-commerce, a strong customer focus with experience interacting with an enterprise retailers senior management team, and strong program management skills, to join our experienced team in Slough.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Retailer relationship management and account team coordination
  • Improve retailer satisfaction
  • Provide final point of ownership for retailer issues
  • Ensure retailer is a positive reference and coordinate public relations activities
  • Improve profitability of retailer website business
  • Establish and manage core business metrics for assessing performance of assigned retailer's business
  • Provide general consultation and guidance on retailer ecommerce strategy, opportunities, business cases, and recommendations
  • Reactive or proactive management of up-sell opportunities
  • Negotiate business and financial terms on contract amendments, extensions, or renewals
  • Manage the financial accounting of billable services and contractual fees
  • Manage business analysis and metrics reporting to the Amazon business

 

 

Candidates must be independent and flexible, with executive-level communication skills, a strong customer focus with experience interacting with an enterprise retailer’s senior management and Executive, and have experience designing, developing, and managing the implementation of large enterprise systems. 

 

Essential program management skills include collecting business and technical requirements, reviewing specifications, analyzing cost/benefit of project selection, and communicating results throughout the organization.

 

A background in Retail or Multi-channel business management in an Operational or Commercial capacity is essential with experience of managing large enterprise accounts an advantage.

 

Of advantage but not essential are technical skills such as application development and design of high-performance, highly available, and maintainable systems on a service-oriented architecture. Familiarity with web services, multi-tiered systems, workflow modelling and enterprise application integration, is a plus.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in e-Commerce/Multi-channel-related business management, technical leadership, and project management roles.
