16 AUGUST, 2007, London, UK - CareerBuilder.co.uk, a leading online job site in the UK, today announced it is officially powering the Careers Channel for MSN®, the world’s leading online destination, in the UK. Under the exclusive agreement, CareerBuilder.co.uk will provide MSN users instant access to job postings in virtually every industry and sector, as well as provide feature articles exploring the topics of job search strategy, career management, hiring trends and other workplace issues.
As part of the agreement CareerBuilder.co.uk will utilize Microsoft’s Windows Live technology to provide a compelling and easy to use job search service for British consumers. This includes utilising Windows Live ID as the authentication system, making it easy for existing Windows Live users to sign up and take advantage of the service. There will also be Windows Live Messenger job alerts available to users and a Messenger careers agent which will enable people to find jobs via their favourite Messenger client should they choose.

This agreement with MSN UK is part of an international agreement that will see CareerBuilder on MSN sites in most European countries by the middle of 2008 with several rolling out by the end of 2007.
