HETA (Humberside Engineering Training Association) is a not-for-profit charity ‘Group Training Association’. Established in 1967 by a group of local companies to bridge the gap between industry and education. HETA is renowned as the leading Engineering training provider in the region.
Our expertise centres on an ability to understand the needs of a business and to be able to design and deliver a training solution to meet those needs.
There are essentially two aspects to our business- upskilling of people already in the workforce and the recruitment and training of apprentices who are about to enter the labour market. We believe that our current model of employer engagement and training delivery has value in selected international markets with particular emphasis on working with existing local partners to deliver training and provide technical expertise on capacity building projects.
At HETA we believe that our staff are our strength and we seek to recruit the best people available with technical and industry skills that can be utilised to enhance the learning experience for our customers.
HETA offer 30 days leave per year plus public holidays (FTE), competitive salaries, ongoing personal development and training, a company pension scheme, private health care and the opportunity to be part of a successful and expanding organisation.
HETA is committed to safeguarding our learners and successful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
