Overview

HRM Homecare is one of Scotland’s leading Care at Home and Self-Directed Support specialists. We have supported users of care services and their families to live independent lives across Central Scotland for over 25 years.
OUR AIM is to reduce the stress of life and lighten the daily chores that age, illness or work make difficult. Our support services can work alongside you to lessen the pressures on you, your family and friends by taking over some of those caring responsibilities and pressures.
OUR GOAL is to enhance the quality of your life with the supports we offer to help people to live as independently as possible in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.
With a compassionate care team we provide over 20,000 hours per week of social care supports, whilst promoting independence and reablement to Older People, Children and Families and Adults with Disabilities.

We are looking for caring and reliable people to join our team of excellent care workers who help support people to remain in their own homes in the Bothwell area.

We operate a 7 day over 14 rotating shift pattern as follows:- 
Week 1 - Monday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2 - Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday

We offer full time and part time shifts as follows:-

Early Shift 7 am - 2 pm
Late Shift - 4 pm - 10.30 pm
Full Time - (both part time shifts combined)

Experience

You will be required to:-
  • provide personal care
  • prompt medication
  • prepare meals
  • provide light housework tasks 
Experience is not essential as we offer a free fully comprehensive training programme to support your learning.

You must:
  • have excellent communication skills
  • care about the health and well-being of our service users
  • be reliable
  • be able to complete care diaries
  • have an acceptable standard of English
  • live our values
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scotland PVG Act 2007, successful applicants will be required to undertake and fund PVG membership.
