Medina Dairy’s vision is to be the leading independent national supplier of liquid milk, dairy and bakery products to the full spectrum of UK retailers, wholesalers and food service operators.
The business was originally started in 1980 by Sardar Hussain and his family and in 1992 Medina Dairy Ltd was established to focus on the supply of milk and bread operating from depots across London and Birmingham.
In 2003 we started a Food Service operation supplying a range of chilled and ambient food products to national accounts and the catering & hospitality sector. The business continued to grow and in 2004 Medina bought our first milk processing unit, Watsons Dairy near Southampton. In 2007 we acquired further processing capacity at Denby Dale Dairy near Huddersfield. From this strong base the business continued to grow and we are now a major dairy with depots throughout London, the Midlands, the North, the South and Wales.
From 2016 our existing fresh milk production facilities will be complemented by Medina’s securing of an agreement to process an additional 100 million litres of milk per annum at the Severnside dairy.
As such, today we have the scale, capability and passion to meet the needs of, and add value to, our customers’ businesses. We are focused on working in partnership through offering a fast, flexible and personal service to customers of all sizes, whether at a national or local level.
