We are looking for an entrepreneurial, highly motivated, and relational Account/BD Director. 

This role will primarily lead the growth of digital business in 1 or 2 verticals in UK and Europe. Possible verticals – BFSI, FMCG, Software/Tech, Manufacturing, Government sector. The opportunity is to use eClerx recognized/proven Digital services/ products to develop a new vertical in the areas listed above and develop the whole vertical. The role’s own deep domain experience and industry network should help in growing the business. The role will be responsible to bring a good balance of hunting and farming to grow the business by managing senior executives of existing clients in the organization, define sales plans for acquiring new logos along with directly managing key big accounts with a personal focus. This involves leading client engagements and strategy primarily in the areas of Analytics, Competitive Intelligence, Customer Experience, Content, CRM campaigns, and Product Data management.

?Position Description 

The successful candidate will: 

  • Define overall strategy and plan to grow a particular industry vertical by leveraging the personal network, eClerx sales support, and domain experience
  • Define the revenue growth plan for portfolio handled in UK/Europe and work with business development and marketing teams to deliver on growth
  • Directly manage 1 or 2 Tier 1 accounts and grow organically. Typical engagements include Digital marketing, Campaigns management, Competitive Intelligence, Customer and campaign analytics, content operations, pricing analysis, demand forecasting, personalization, and products data management
  • Identify typical business case/ use cases that map to services provided by eClerx Digital for the respective verticals for whitespace opportunities
  • Support the eClerx business development, execution, and senior management globally to anticipate and identify new opportunities and service areas
  • Develop and maintain active relationships with key stakeholders throughout the engagement portfolio
  • Develop and maintain a senior executive relationship for current clients
  • Closely work with offshore operations team to manage issues/risks and delivery excellence
  • Be responsible for portfolio revenue targets and growth through developing new relationships, as well as identifying new opportunities to match service capabilities with client needs
  • Work closely with product leads to identify opportunities in the accounts and pursue the same for closure  
  • Manage project proposals, timelines, and deliverables for engagements from proposal through implementation in conjunction with the services team

Position Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred
  • Prior domain experience and industry network in any of verticals - BFSI, FMCG, and Software/Tech, Manufacturing, and Government sector is preferred. Agency background of selling services is helpful
  • Good relationship and senior executive connect within industry vertical
  • Substantial experience in client management and engagements, account management, consulting services delivery, business intelligence, data warehousing, or similar business areas
  • Past experience running book of business and meeting sales targets, accounts target or new logo acquisition preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills - the ability to network and earn client confidence and trust
  • Highly motivated, resourceful, and adaptable. Must enjoy constantly learning and tacking new challenges
  • Strong domain knowledge of areas such as Digital marketing, business insights/business intelligence, including business performance reporting, predictive analytics, customer segmentation and profiling, web analytics platforms, CRM platforms, channel and vendor analysis, forecasting, data warehousing, data marts, data mining, competitive pricing, and analysis, etc.
  • Preferred: Domain experience and Industry network in any of these verticals - BFSI, FMCG, Software/Tech, Manufacturing, Government sector
