FINTEC recruit is seeking an Account Director for a global pharmaceutical company. This is a permanent position based in Cambridge, salary negotiable by experience £60,000 to £80,000.
You will require to have 10 years plus sales experience with at least 5 years in pharmaceutical; solution and service sales within R&D, Clinical, Medical or Commercial Pharmaceutical. You will be based in Cambridge with visits to premises in Manchester and Luton as well as trips to Europe and the US on occasions as required. (currently operating as a remote role from home). You will have worked in an established technology /BPO outsourcing/consulting business or digital marketing service provider. It is essential your experience is in Pharma or lifesciences.
Manage existing accounts and create new business opportunities from accounts.
Able to drive business growth and lead on customer engagement and generate new programs
Opening new revenue streams in existing engagements in digital production, training, analytics, medical affairs, regulatory medical, RWD etc.
Developing strong relationships
Lead on a structured approach for all business development activities
Lead on acquisition of new client buying groups
Mentor and coach client services and project managers based in the US and in Europe and promote professional development
Skills and experience required for the Pharma Account Director role:
Experience of sales and account management in solutions and services within R&D, Clinical, Medical or commercial depts within Pharma companies
Experience of managing a portfolio of client groups within an account.
