Job Description

If you are brilliant at managing the client relationship through a lengthy sales cycle - advising, educating and listening in equal measure - then I have a role that will really appeal to you.

You would be joining a business that is a leader in its field - that of buying and selling businesses.

Specifically, you will work with a small portfolio of business owners who are seeking to sell; your role being to help them with this process.

You will be well supported by specialists in areas such as valuation and marketing - your aim is to get their business in front of as many prospective buyers as possible and manage the ensuing process to asses the viability of the buyer, underpin the negotiations and assist with the tricky 'deal' stage.

The ideal candidate will have the aforementioned experience in managing sales cycles than can often be long and complex

You will also have experience operating where you have had to influence both the buyer and the seller as part of the role. This would make someone with a background in recruitment or property of interest, although that shouldn't stop you from applying if your experience has been gained elsewhere.

What is important is that you have the gravitas to transact £multimillion deals with owners / Directors in an environment where much of your time is spent behind a desk but still requires you to get out and meet people too.
