We have an exciting opportunity for an entry level Administration Assistant to join our highly successful Accountancy Practice in Borehamwood.

Job description for the Administration Assistant

This Administration Assistant role will involve supporting all departments with general administration duties. Responsibilities include:

  • Data entry of information on client accounts
  • Scanning documents for electronic filing
  • Ordering of stationary
  • Lunch orders
  • Photocopying of documentation
  • Reception cover

Information may be required from various sources to complete client files, including telephone enquiries, therefore it is essential that you are confident in dealing with people of all levels and also be confident in your approach.

Requirements for the Administration Assistant

  • This is an entry level role and would be ideal for a first jobber, recent graduate or those with no prior experience
  • Accurate keyboard skills, both written and numerical
  • Competent using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise work
  • Excellent work ethics and eagerness to learn
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at different levels
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Have an organised approach to your work and ideally have experience in working to strict deadlines
  • Be comfortable in administering repetitive tasks on some occasions, although we will make every effort to vary your workload
