Job Description

This is an opportunity to join a small, but expanding company based in Melton, Suffolk, specialising in the design and delivery of bespoke Leadership and Management Training.

"We don't just do training, we change lives" says it all. They are very proud of the service we offer and are looking for someone to support their admin team in the preparation and administration of their many programmes.

They have a proud history of developing apprentices - 3 of their existing team started as apprentice administrators and are now permanent members of the team.

This is a permanent role and they will be looking to offer a full-time position after successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

• Liaising with clients and delegates regarding the administration of their programmes
• Supporting preparation of all materials for training workshops
• Gathering and recording of client feedback to share with commissioners
• Liaising with key client contacts and suppliers as required
• Working with external venues to make the necessary requirements for booking training rooms
• Answering the telephone and directing inbound calls appropriately
• Making outbound calls to clients to clarify information as required
• Supporting the Admin Manager with the smooth running of the office - stationery, maintenance etc..
• Supporting Directors and Consultants as required with client facing activity
• General administrative support as required to meet the needs of the business

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/competencies:

• Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Able to work in a structured manner, follow processes and manage their time/priorities effectively
• Good IT skills, particularly in using basic Microsoft packages - Word/Excel/PowerPoint
• Comfortable speaking with clients over the phone and dealing with general enquiries
• Flexible and able to adapt working style to meet the needs of the business
• Good understanding of the written word - able to produce good quality communication to clients
• Willing to share views and ideas to support the growth of the business

On offer is an initial salary of £12,,000 p.a. You will also have the opportunity to join the company pension scheme, and 22 days holiday (plus bank holidays and the days between Christmas and New Year). Free parking is available on site and we have convenient rail links into Ipswich/Lowestoft.

During your first year you will be supported to complete a Level 3 Qualification in Business Administration.
