This is an exciting time for ELFT. Our vision is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.

Band 4 Assistant Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to work within the Primary Care at home team in Bedford. The team provides rehabilitation to service users within their main place of residency, in order to improve their independence and quality of life.

We seek a dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic person who possesses excellent communication, assessment and problem solving skills alongside a passion for patient centred care. You will be working closely with the multi-disciplinary team which is currently made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Rehabilitation Support Workers and District Nurses. You will need excellent communication and time management skills, and experience of working within a rehabilitation environment. Previous experience of working in a care environment with health professionals and in patient settings is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible and assist colleagues to cover service needs, which may include working across Bedfordshire, depending on clinical need.

We are passionate about patient centred care, support our clinicians to lead and deliver excellent and compassionate services and value our clinical teams as the real heart of the NHS.

Our Trust is known for offering excellent training, personal development programmes, supportive coaching and competency frameworks; all to support enhanced skills and career development which meet the goals and aspirations of the individual.
