An exciting opportunity for Band 5 RMN’s to join LPT’s Female PICU – Griffin Ward
All registered staff working on Griffin Ward will receive a recruitment and retention payment of £1542 per annum in addition to your salary.
The ward admits females who are posing risks that cannot be safely managed on an open ward from both LPT and surrounding trusts. Typically our admissions will be short and patients will be transferred back to an acute ward to continue in their recovery.
Griffin Ward nurses patients in the least restrictive way and focuses on positive engagement and meaningful activity.
We hope to give patients a positive experience of being in hospital whilst focusing on risk management and providing a safe environment.
People wishing to join the team on Griffin Ward should be motivated to work in a service that offers involvement and empowerment for patients who may have a personality disorder and/or severe mental illness. The ward will encourage all patients to have a voice in how the ward works and in their own individual care pathway.
