Bank Care Assistant – Brooklyn House

  • Attleborough, Norfolk
  • Work 11 hours and get paid for 12. Your contracted rate of £8.91, becomes £9.62 with your paid breaks on top. *
  • *applies for 12 hours shifts only
  • Night Shift 8pm to 8am
  • Day shift 8am to 8pm
  • Bank work to assist the care home as and when required
  • We regularly Covid test all our residents and staff
  • ABOUT THE HOME

    Brooklyn House is a modern, purpose-built care home in Norfolk, situated in the heart of the attractive market town of Attleborough, offering the highest levels of residential and nursing care for up to 38 elderly people.

    We offer fantastic training and development opportunities, each of our care workers work towards their Care Certificate, giving them the confidence to deliver first-class care.


    We also undertake a wide range of diverse training, from manual handling to infection control and safeguarding. We have an extensive training team, consisting of regional trainers as well as a network of in-home trainers, able to deliver programmes to colleagues.


    In 2015 we launched our own dementia training programme, called ‘My World’. This is accredited by City and Guilds and was awarded the Princess Royal Training Award, every employee is given the opportunity to learn and develop.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    An excellent and exciting opportunity to join our Brooklyn House Care Home as a Care Assistant! You will work part of a great team and be making a difference to our residents by providing excellent care standards, taking pride in treating our residents as individuals. 

    As a Care Assistant at Caring Homes, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. Responsible for supporting our elderly residents with daily living, providing support and companionship, assisting with their physical and personal needs – where every day is different and rewarding!
