We currently have opportunities to join the Nursing Bank within Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) in Radlett as a Psychologist for our CAMHS teamAll roles on the bank are for as and when workers and therefore in particular may suit those already working part-time, with other commitments, or who want to work on a short-term basis.If you have not yet been vaccinated, you will need to obtain the 1st vaccine by the 1st Feb so you have the 2nd Vaccine by the 1st April . All front line staff working from the 01/04/22 must be double Covid vaccinated.Job Summary: The postholder will provide specialist clinical psychological assessment and treatment to young people and adolescents with mental health disorders that are admitted to Forest House Adolescent UnitThe post-holder will provide specialist support, guidance and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non- professional carers within community mental health services, primary care and other agenciesThe postholder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team at Forest House Adolescent Unit, as well as a range of other psychological therapy colleagues within the inpatient unitThe postholder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and proceduresThe postholder will utilise research skills for audit, teaching, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service All staff should comply with the Trust’s Anti-Discriminatory Statement, Employee Charter, Trust Policies and Procedures, Code of Conduct and Equality and DiversityJob Responsibilities: The post-holder will provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment including a range of group, family and individual psychological interventions, within the context of the unit philosophy and service model. The postholder will provide specialist support, guidance and consultation on clients’ psychological care to other multi-disciplinary professionalsThe postholder will work closely with both psychology and other psychological therapy colleaguesThe postholder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and proceduresThe post-holder will utilise research skills for audit, teaching, policy and service development and research within the area served by the team/service There is no remote working available for this rolePlease see the JD attached for more information
