The Role:

Split between the WPP hubs of Sea Containers and Rose Court theposition will reportinto theFord Biddable Partner. You will maintain an active client facing profile and be responsible for ensuring Ford get the best biddable service possible. This will involve managing direct reports as well as dotted line reports across the team.

You should have a strong eye for detail. Having had a strong background in biddable media over at least 5 years. You will also need the ability to look from the top down at how best to extract the most from the teams beyond executional excellence. This may include the introductions of new disciplines, tools, ways of working or communications frameworks.

Principalresponsibilities:

Performance

  • Overall responsibility for the WPP | Ford Biddable offering.
  • Be the central client contact for Ford, dealing at Director level and above with senior management within the client andagencyorganization
  • Proven experience in working effectively across biddable channels.
  • Deliver on goals and target agreed with the biddable partner
  • Attend all important internal and external clientmeetings;provide outstanding levels of client service in a proactive manner
  • Profile

  • Substantial experience across Biddable activation or strategy including team management
  • Ability to demonstrate lateral thinking and previous success in introducing new initiatives to clients.
  • Strong people management skills to bring together
  • Ability to demonstrate skills as a trusted senior advisorfor internal and external stakeholders
  • People

  • Take responsibility for yourteamsdevelopment and careerprogression within the agency
  • Reviewthe quality of team outputand take appropriateaction to improve delivery
  • Play an active role in therecruitment andinterviewing process to build strong teams
  • Key skills & knowledge:

  • Exceptional client management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of at least two biddable channels (you will not be expected to activate)
  • An entrepreneurial mindset. The ability to find new opportunities
  • Strong advocacy. The ability to advocate successfully both internally and externally.
  • Quick learner. The ability to pick up skills and knowledge quickly across new areas.
  • Communication. The ability to get complex ideas across simply.
