Job Description

The Business Development Executive will work in the Close Brothers Industrial equipment division, the role will predominantly source new prospects, cold calling to fact find and gather all useful information regarding customers asset finance needs. The Business Development Executive will also look after an existing customer base within an allocated territory generating quality leads and appointments for the area sale managers. Building relationships both internally and externally with clients and colleagues is crucial for this role therefore a strong communicator is paramount.



Key Responsibilities:



Proactively build & manage prospects in CRM/Salesforce
Pro-actively contact all potential prospects
Assist in making appointments for Area Sales Managers
Updating CRM/Salesforce daily with activity and following up any campaign activity sent from Marketing
Follow up any campaign activity in a timely manner
Working towards KPIs for call rate set by the Business Development Supervisor
Plan & organise priorities and tasks effectively to ensure all sales opportunities are maximised
Assist Direct Sales in connection to leads passed
Build effective relationships with both the internal and external customer
Following up potential prospects from attending trade shows



Risk & Compliance

Ensure that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required.
