What does a P&C Business Partner do at Collinson do?

  • As a P&C Business Partner you will be an advisor and a partner to the managers and senior managers across the business and will ensure excellent people practices are operating throughout the divisions you work with as well as playing an active role in developing leadership and management capabilities. 
  • You will work collaboratively across the P&C Team to promote a cohesive team environment and partner the specialist central functions making it an exciting time to join.
  • Your duties will include and are not limited to the following activities and tasks:
  • Be a trusted consultant to the business, to develop and implement the P&C business strategy in line with Collinson strategy and the operational goals of the allocated business units. 
  • Support the ‘One Collinson’ concept to help develop a group identity and sense of belonging for our employees. 
  • Provide P&C advice and support to leaders and senior managers on a wide range of strategic and operational P&C issues including best practise, employment legislation, and ensure people related legal and compliance issues are managed effectively. 
  • Be a change agent and play a leading consultative role in supporting change management across the Group, including the people and organisation design aspects of new company acquisitions.
  • Create and facilitate delivery of people plans and aid managers to deliver on their business objectives by ensuring the optimum plans are in place and being worked through. 
  • You will partner with leaders when it comes to making key decisions relating to driving a high-performance culture and creating a great place to work. 
  • Work collaboratively with L&D to bring to life a talent agenda that supports business success. 
  • Deliver assigned projects with quality to timeline with good communication and collaboration across the relevant audience / sponsors.
  • Identify processes for improvement within the P&C function and assist with solutions to further enhance the P&C reputation across the Group. 
  • Facilitation of Performance and Calibration process
  • Support D&I agenda.
  • How will you make a difference as a P&C Business Partner at Collinson? 

  • Able to perform the role in a way that enhances the desired culture of the organisation and which is in line with the organisational values. Emphasis is on collaboration and integrity.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with great influential skills 
  • Ability to lead by example in challenging situations and think objectively and strategically to build organisational effectiveness.
  • Working knowledge of UK Employment Law
  • Hold a full generalist remit including employee relations, succession, restructuring, as well as other people and culture projects.
  • Experience of facilitating performance and talent calibration process.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and facilitating workshops.
  • Able to present recommendations in a clear compelling format appropriate to the situation.
  • Able to work in ambiguous or changing situations and prioritise own work
