Job Description

Job Title: Business Support Manager
Location: Dundee & Services within Scotland                                                              Salary: £45000 - £50000 (plus Car Allowance)                                                            Hours: Full Time

An exciting opportunity has arisen as a result of the current change to the operational management structure.  We now have a position for a Business Support Manager throughout the country.

Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director your key function will be the improvement of quality and operating compliance with all regulatory and company requirements throughout a number of services by;

  • Through Monthly reporting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company quality compliance requirements,
  • Support coaching and development of Service Managers to deliver excellence for the people support and command success on agreed target
  • To work with the Relationship Team, Clinical Team, Regional Trainer, Unit Teams and others in the development and implementation of a robust pipeline strategy,
  • To work towards ensuring that every appropriate action is taken to ensure occupancy targets are met and where possible maximum occupancy is obtained,
  • To undertake, as a minimum, bi-weekly service visits and reviews (as required by the service in question).
  • Effectively manage multi-sites and provide appropriate communication.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Commercial & Operational  experience supporting  multiple locations
  • Knowledge and understanding of key national policy and professional guidance relating to the care and treatment of people with children and adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems
  • Proven track record of ‘Good’ or above (England), (5 Rating in Scotland)
  • Proven track record of turnaround & delivery of improved performance
  • Skills in resolving conflict
  • Effective communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
  • Car driver/access to own transport – needs to be willing to travel within the division.
