You will provide the residents with a choice menu that is nutritionally balanced.
Ensure that the kitchen environment is maintained in a hygienic and safe way and that all of the Companies responsibilities under the Environmental Health guidance are met

In addition we provide Event Days for our residents, which showcase the skill of our gifted kitchen team, and we also have a private dining room available for our residents to have meals with their families on special occasions too.

To ensure this we offer training and development for all staff to ensure that service standards are achieved.
In return we offer excellent working hours on a rota basis covering shifts from breakfast through to dinner, offering that work/life balance with alternate weekends.
Plan and implement a six weekly menu cycle taking into account the needs and personal preferences of the residents.
Get to know our residents, you will create a varied and nutritional menu that will satisfy all dietary needs and preferences
Your duties will also extend to the prepping, cooking and serving of food
On occasion, you will help manage the catering for special events or seasonal activities, such as summer fetes, Christmas parties and special occasion birthdays etc.
Experience in a fresh food kitchen, you will appreciate the importance of good quality home cooking to our residents.
Creative, innovative and passionate about food, you will share and listen to ideas to ensure our residents enjoy the best possible menus.
You will accommodate and respect the individual needs of Residents in line with both their care plans and personal preferences. You will get to know the residents and build relationships with them along with their families. This position is an integral member of the team within the Home.
Nutrition is an important element of the care package that we provide. You will be actively involved in the nutritional needs of the Residents and ensure that a high quality dining experience is received by everyone.
Food/Hygiene certificate and ideally you will be qualified to either NVQ 3 / 4 OR City and Guilds 706.1 / 706.2 (or equivalent)
