This is an exciting opportunity to support the setting up and the development of the Child Health Psychology service. We are a new and growing service based in Singleton Hospital and are part of Children's Services in Swansea Bay University Health Board. This post is for a secretary/admin support worker for the service. It is a band 3 post, 0.5wte (18.75 hours per week), and the successful applicant will ideally be available to work these hours across 4 or 5 days each week.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, innovative, motivated and suitably qualified individuals, who are keen to take a proactive approach in supporting the setting up and development of the service.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have experience of a range of IT systems and packages along with proven secretarial skills and previous experience within an administrative role. Applicants should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work using their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. Experience of working within the NHS as well as knowledge of Health Systems is desirable but an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn is also very important.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
