Citizen development gained prevalence due to the increase in shadow IT. The influx of shadow IT essentially addressed an unsatisfied need: The need for business to be self-sufficient and work at speed. The term was properly coined around 2014. To use a citizen developer tool means to be working with a low code or no code none RPA tools. Used and implemented well, it leads to empowered business users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand competitor landscape for Citizen Developer implementation strength
  • Partner with product GTM, sales and other external facing teams early in the sales lifecycle to build up CD IP and internal case studies to showcase to clients
  • Case study creation in collaboration with senior consultant and GTM teams to pull out the challenges and the benefits achieved
  • Being a leader for a CD POC versus a contributor as part of a wider intelligent automation strategy
  • Actively pursue account mining activities in existing accounts to expand FD’s CD services footprint
  • Help make customer’s economic buyer build a business case to purchase FD’s services – participate in process analysis to position automation ROI
  • Perform data extraction/acquisition using multiple databases and querying languages for the purpose of dynamically reporting results to the end user
  • Consult and advise with the relevant client team and other stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of the data acquisition process
  • Interpret findings of solutions/reports using descriptive statistical analysis and reporting tools such as QlikView, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Create ad-hoc executive reports and scorecards using Business Intelligence tools (QlikView, Aletryx, and Business Objects) and data extrapolated from multiple source systems based on current corporate operational needs.
  • Direct line management responsibility for a team of CD practitioners
  • Criteria:

  • Strong practical experience of implementation of Citizen Developer tools
  • Willingness and aptitude to learn new tools for client success
  • 10+ years’ professional experience, primarily focused on customer-facing roles
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills and an entrepreneurial can-do mindset
  • Excellent understanding of the Intelligent Automation product suite and Automation
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% (whenever travel resumes)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across internal and external boundaries and cultures
  • Built partnerships with key vendors (RPA/IA, CD, Etc.)
  • Significant breadth of technical knowledge and practical management experience using a variety of automation & AI technologies.
  • Relational database knowledge (relational model(s), star schema, keys, common terminology) (FOR DEV)
  • Intermediate-level skills with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, visual basic commands)
  • Knowledge of reporting and query tools (Oracle SQL developer, Business Objects, MS SQL)
  • Knowledge of SQL querying language
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute specific tasks associated to data acquisition/profiling
  • Ability to construct process flow charts and diagrams relating to data ETL processes and project life cycles
  • Working knowledge of self-service analytic/ETL tools and data visualization tools, specifically Alteryx Designer and QlikView
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in in data by incorporating thorough documentation processes
  • This role is based in London.
