We are looking for highly motivated registered nurse RGN, RMN OR RNLD who will play a key role in our care home as a Clinical Lead Nurse . The home provides nursing, residential and dementia care for 45 elderly residents, the team are very proud to have been rated as 'Good' in their most recent CQC report, June 2018.

As the Clinical Lead Nurse this will mean overseeing the care of every one of the residents in your area of the care home. You'll even run the whole home when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. And, whether you're following up on any resident visits related to ill health, administering prescribed medicines or keeping records to meet statutory legal requirements.

The Role as a Clinical Lead Nurse


  • Identify and taking appropriate clinical and other interventions to ensure their comfort wellbeing and safety of The Residents
  • Undertake the assessment of nursing needs of new and existing Residents and ensure that their care needs are communicated
  • Liaise with GP's and other health and social care professionals to ensure that all aspects of the Residents' health and social care needs are met
  • Ensure that appropriate reporting and recording is undertaken by all colleagues as appropriate, and that all critical incidents are reported
  • Be compliant with National Care Standards, Regulations, codes of practice, legal and company requirements so that provide a safe service to Residents
