Your field of responsibility

The role responsibilities include:

  • Working with CM&A closely on transactions and prospects, including coordinating closely with industry / country coverage group bankers and senior management.
  • Coordination and preparation of marketing materials, presentations for client meetings, synthesising of analyst and investor feedback, assisting in execution and roadshow coordination and managing other project materials.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the primary and secondary equity markets and advise clients and colleagues in CM&A.
  • Providing analytical and junior management support to ECM officers.
  • Liaising with professionals within the Equities and other IB divisions for investor and market insights (sales & specialist sales, research, etc.).
  • Managing various Investment Banking equity-related and private placements projects whenever necessary.

    The Capital Markets and Advisory (CM&A) division consists of Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Market Solutions, Country Coverage and Sector Coverage. CM&A offers a broad range of investment banking services to corporations, financial institutions, financial sponsors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and sovereign clients. Equity Capital Markets Solutions is responsible for the origination and execution of all equity and equity-linked products globally. This includes IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, rights offers, convertible bonds, equity derivatives, and corporate share buybacks and accumulations. ECM teams in each region work closely with coverage teams to serve corporates, financial sponsors, private banking clients, and governments considering equity and equity-linked transactions.     Your skills and experience

    In order to be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and/or experience:

  • Excellent technical skillset and background.
  • Knowledge of ECM products and/or Capital Markets desirable.
  • Proven ability to produce technically excellent written materials – client pitches and analysis, equity valuation / risk committee, investment banking committee memos.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Be able to use technical skills and knowledge to solve problems and derive advice.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, proven ability to multi-task across many tasks, projects and plan ahead.
  • Be able to present in a measured, clear, articulate way – in particular with regard to technical issues.
  • Results-oriented individual with an ability to collaborate and work cross divisionally.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
