PeoplePlus is looking to recruit a full time Construction Trainer for HMP Highpoint that can do more than just deliver a qualification but can engage and inspire students that have had little or no prior education. We need a Construction Trainer that believes people are capable of change and deserve a second chance in life.
At PeoplePlus Justice we’re committed to tackling the underlying causes of offending, and to transforming the lives of offenders. To achieve this, we deliver programmes of support that help those in prison or serving a sentence in the community. Our programmes deal with the root causes of offender behaviour, helping people to live improved lives and make a positive contribution to society.
Our onsite education departments have fully equipped workshops and classrooms like any other further education college.

As a multi-skilled construction Trainer you would take ownership of the delivery of our level 1 programmes across number of trades including; carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating and electrics.
To be considered for the role of multi-skilled construction Trainer you will need a level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in your main trade and ideally a teaching and or assessing qualification (or the willingness to work towards one).
