Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site CONSULTANT GENERAL MEDICINE WITH SPECIAL INTEREST IN RENAL
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 full-time Consultants in General Medicine with a specialist interest in Renal medicine. The post holder/s will work within a cross-site multi-disciplinary general and renal medicine team providing managing and developing care for general medicine inpatient activity. The post/s will be based at the PRUH site, but it is job planned that two consultant posts will be interchanging in providing general medicine consultant responsibility ward rounds for inpatients and renal outliers. The other post will have increased renal medicine and opportunities for cross-site working. These two posts will change roles from ward to non-ward activities. There will be 8.5 PA of DCC and 1.5 PA for SPA and other activities. Both posts have on-call commitments on the Princess Royal Hospital Site.
The post-holder/s will contribute and be involved in the Denmark Hill renal medicine service.
The medicine consultant teams across the PRUH site are friendly and supportive with a range of senior nurses, junior medical teams to support. These posts are based at the Princess Royal Hospital.
