£79,860 TO £107,668 + £2,162 LW PER ANNUM + 1% ON CALLS PERMANENT - FULL TIME - 40 HOURS/10 PAs PER WEEK

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust was formed in April 1995 and is a provider of Mental Health Services for Greenwich, Bexley and Bromley. It is a specialist provider of Forensic and Challenging Behaviour services for Bexley, Greenwich, Lewisham, North Southwark, Bromley and Kent Prisons. Since 2010, Oxleas also provides a range of physical health services to adults and children in the community in the boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich. These range from health visitors and community midwives working with the very young, to district nurses and therapists meeting the physical health needs of older people.

Greenwich Older Peoples Community Mental Health Team, Memorial Hospital, Shooters Hill, SE18 3RG

The post holder will be Consultant within the above service working alongside two other consultants. Mental health provision in the community to residents above the age of 65 will be the responsibility of the Older People’s Community Mental Health Team. The team is fully integrated with RBG social services and provides health and social care for older adults on CPA. The service also has 15 functional continuing care beds at the Memorial in Oaktree Lodge, and an 18 dementia continuing care beds in a purpose built home in Kidbrooke, opened in 2004. Community teams include CPN’s (9) CPN assistants (2) Psychologists, OTs and Social Workers (5).
