Tasked with managing transport services for customers in the UK as well as coordinating and liaising with teams and colleagues throughout the UK, your main responsibilities will include:• Respond to all operational customer requirements by booking emergency transport services within pricing agreements• Manage, monitor and track all transport services in operation using an internal system• Record and escalate any issues that may affect the safe or timely running of an operation, working within agreed KPIs• Maintain effective communication with Coordinators during the running of all operations to ensure that any required actions are put in place or escalated• Liaise with external agencies as necessary to obtain required information (emergency services, Network Rail, DVSA, local authorities, rail user groups)• Manage the provision of stand-by vehicles and record any changes• Completion of paperwork involved in the day to day running of the department• Work closely with all other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the businessHours:
This will be a 24 hour operation with the current shift pattern being 4 days a week at:
7am to 7pm for 4 days followed by 4 days off and then repeat this cycle back and forth
