These workshops will explore how we can improve the way we communicate with people living with dementia and their carers.
We are keen to work with others to find out the best way to engage people living with dementia, their families and carers in our work.
To do this, we are looking to map what networks and groups are currently available (including on social media) and the best way to link those groups.
We're keen to use these events to help us build our understanding, and to help us work together to share opportunities and make the best connections possible.
This workshop will explore: * building a shared purpose across Wales * current ways in which we engage with people with dementia and families, including media and social media * identifying and working with local networks * building an ongoing infrastructure for engagement.
This work will help the national dementia learning and development group shape a communications and engagement plan, and it links to the National Dementia Action Plan for Wales.
If you're interested in attending the workshops, you can book your place using the links below: * 28 January 2020, St Asaph * 30 January 2020, Cardiff
