Deputy Care Home Manager
We are currently looking for an outstanding Deputy Home Manager to join a team of therapeutic residential carers. The role of Deputy Home Manager provides a perfect combination of giving hands on support to the young people while providing leadership to the team and deputising in the Manger's absence.Deputy Care Home Manager Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will take a lead in ensuring that each child is provided with excellent standards of individualised care; creating and promoting a positive culture; and helping them work towards a safe and healthy future. You will be a positive and resilient person who upholds clear and consistent boundaries. You will act as a role model for the children and young people, displaying empathy, creativity and a sense of fun! You will play a central role in managing the team at the home, providing staff training, supervision and motivation to your colleagues. You will also have good written and verbal communication skills.Deputy Care Home Manager Requirements:
The successful applicant will work in line with the Children's Home (England) Regulations 2015. You will work to a shift pattern including weekends and sleeping in duties, with an additional payment of £35 per night. SWAAY utilises a rolling rota which provides consistency and ease of predictability in your shift patterns. The role involves 'on call' duties and acting as a 'key worker' if required.About SWAAY:
