Our client operates a well respected, small care home in the North Berwick area. They are committed to providing an environment that is safe, caring and feels like home, and are now looking for a Deputy Manager to enhance their staff team.
This role would provide an ideal opportunity to a nurse who wants to progress their management career and would suit a nurse with previous experience within a care home environment who has strong clinical skills.
As the new Deputy Manager, you will be a strong clinical nurse and a leader who is able to facilitate and ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Leading by example, you will be able to motivate the staff team, ensure they have all the necessary skills needed, and support the manager in the running of the home.
The role has 16 supernumerary hours, but of course part of your role as the deputy manager will be to work on the floor with your staff team, take some on call, and work some weekends to ensure the smooth running of the shift.
