Salary up to £27,000 for 40hrs per week. At this rate we need level 5 already or in progress, some train the trainer qualifications an advantage. On-call experience and willing and available to work on the floor covering all shifts. Already working as a deputy preferable. Able to work towards outstanding cqc rating therefore not coming from a home that's been closed.

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Deputy Manager to work within a state of the art care home near Chichester. Role Requirements of Deputy Manager:
•Support and deputise for the Home Manager in their absence
•Assist the delegation of workloads and care resources
•Assist with training of new staff
•Support the management team
•Ensure high care standards are met on a day to day basis
•Maintaining the safe custody, administration and storage of medication
•Medication management
•Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient/resident engagement

Qualification/Skill Requirements of Deputy manager:
•Experience in similar care environment
•NVQ Level 5 (or in progress)
•On-Call Experience
•Available to work on the floor covering all shifts
•Train the trainer qualification – desirable
•Supervisory and leadership skills
•Willingness to develop new skills in self and others
