Dispatch Production Assistant - 12 Month Contract

An opportunity has arisen for two Print and Despatch Production Assistant within our Despatch department at Gateshead to join RNIB on a 12 month contract.
Your main role will be to collate and pack accessible formats (Large Print, Braille, Audio and Easy Read) as per client demands following defined routes, processes, procedures and standards to deliver agreed standards and turnaround times. Successful candidates will be required to operate machinery to produce accessible formats. All training will be given for this role.
Reporting to the Print and Despatch Team Leader/Lead in a team of approx. 20 members of staff. Standard office hours will apply and possible weekend work. The following skills/experience would be preferred:
- Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Follow basic production plans
- Experience working to service level agreements (SLA) and meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong Attention to detail is crucial
- Experience handling sensitive/confidential information
- Maintaining accuracy whilst working at high levels of speed
- Good spelling/literacy
- Working as part of a team and able to work independently
