Are you an IT Enthusiast wanting to kick start your career? Then this could be the role for you!

Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with OpenVoip. They offer a technology that allows you to make telephone calls via the internet, instead of needing traditional analogue phone lines.

Based in Kingston Upon Hull, Open Voip provide many businesses, small and large with phone systems allowing them to get on with their work easily, efficiently, and cost-effectively. They have previously hired an IT apprentice and are keen to develop another allowing them to develop through their business.

Could you see yourself doing similar roles to the following; Raising helpdesk tickets, attending sites with IT managers and giving first-line support?

Roles and Responsibilities

Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing front line support
  • Raising tickets to senior members of the team
  • Dealing with tickets on the helpdesk
  • Attending sites with IT Managers with Hardware enquiries
  • Dealing with telephone enquires

Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and OpenVoip Ltd.

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

  • IT Hobbyist
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written)
  • Chatty, outgoing and can use their initiative
  • Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics is required

Salary, Hours & Holidays:

  • £10,400 per annum
  • Monday to Friday (9 am-5 pm) with one hour for lunch
  • 20 days of annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays)
  • Free car parking onsite

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program. You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time position with the business or progress onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship.
