Title: French speaking Business Development Manager
Salary: Base salary 35,000 GBP to 40,000 GBP + 15k OTE Location: Central London
Sector: Translation Services within the Finance/Asset Management sector
We are looking for a French Speaker Business Development Manager with experience and good knowledge in the Finance/Asset Management industry. The role will be predominantly English spoken, but a very good understanding/fluency in French will be necessary, due to internal communication, as the Headquarters are located in France.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Aiming to build and develop strong relationships with businesses requiring translation services. Those businesses will be primarily within the Finance/Asset Management sector, hence why a good understanding of this industry will be mandatory.
Managing the whole 360 sales cycle, from mapping the market, prospecting relevant leads, setting up appointments with clients, preparing and conducting online presentations, negotiating contracts, etc.
Working to achieve Sales targets provided by the Sales Director.
Working closely with other departments within the company, from Marketing to Operations, to gain knowledge on the services and optimise processes.
Managing and logging all your sales activities into the company's CRM and being able to provide clear revenue figures.Updating and maintaining a CRM sales database with the relevant information.
Following up and speaking to prospects that have attended events with the purpose of booking meetings, seeking out more senior level contacts as necessary. Booking meetings to be held at both the customer's site and various stands at trade fairs.
Writing business emails to current customers as well as introduction emails, promoting the company's added value to clients.
Fluency in French and English is a must.
Minimum of 2 years solid experience in Sales/Lead Generation within Finance/Asset Management.
Commercial, with a client focused mindset and excellent negotiation skills.
Fantastic communication and presentation skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills to collect business needs and monitoring/identifying trends in data.
Creative, and problem-solving abilities. Extremely proactive and willing to learn.
Team player. Able to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
