The Senior Forensic Accountant will conduct and prepare a wide range of forensic financial analyses. A Senior Forensic Accountant has a unique job which will require strong analytical, creative, investigative, research, communication and organisational skills, as well as familiarity with a variety of the fields concepts, practices and procedures. 

The Senior Forensic Accountant will maintain excellent client relationships by delivering high quality customer service and competently completing client engagements. The Senior Forensic Accountant may delegate and lead the work of other staff and work well within a team. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.


  • Complete most tasks with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Conduct and perform forensic financial analyses, build models, maintain documents assist in report writing, and perform quality control procedures on schedules and reports
  • Discuss and outline problems/ issues with a Manager or Partner and then act on the preferred advice
  • Carry out the quantification of claims on behalf of Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Lawyers and others
  • Analyze data and financial / non-financial information and apply a forensic approach to the work
  • Prepare clear, concise reports which can be understood by non-accountants
  • Be flexible and responsive to client needs, in particular being available for meetings at times and places stipulated by the client. This can involve working long days and tight deadlines
  • May direct staff, instructing them in work to be performed, reviewing their completed work and directing any necessary revisions or actions 
  • Determines engagement timelines, in conjunction with the engagement Manager/ Partner, and instructs assistants in time management methods allowing them to efficiently and effectively accomplish the Firms objectives
  • Develop and maintain excellent client relationships
  • Team player who works well with juniors, peers, seniors and all the other team members
  • Participate in Firm business development efforts, including the development of presentations and proposals
  • Represents Firm at business and community functions in order to maintain current, acquire new and expand existing client relationships

  • Qualifications


  • A Bachelors or Masters degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of public accounting or related experience
  • A record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility and independence
  • Experience in forensic accounting is strongly preferred 
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA certification or equivalent is required
  • Individuals in this position must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software is required particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Language skills would be beneficial
