Job Description

A leading Private Debt Asset Management firm with a large international presence are hiring a Global Head of Sales to propel the business forward.

Ultimately the successful candidate will be tasked with improving the performance of the existing sales team through training, mentoring, hiring and reshaping in addition to taking charge of the fund-raising process to drive new business development from both new and existing territories.

This role would be perfect for a candidate who has a track record of raising money in private debt, has managed a successful sales team previously and has an entrepreneurial nature,

The role will report directly into the CEO.


  • To pioneer new accounts globally with the leading institutional investors in direct lending strategies, and work on bringing in new tickets through excellent business development.
  • To utilise relationship management skills in taking over existing relationships, accounts and prospective clients in the pipeline.
  • A desire to travel to new and existing territories to build-out an institutional client base.
  • To manage the team of sales affiliates and develop / help them build stronger cooperation between them and their clients.
  • To recruit / mould the team in your image.
  • To manage and co-ordinate third party marketing and capital introduction agents to develop stronger ties with them.
  • Give expertise to help develop marketing materials, websites, due diligence and social network platform marketing.


  • To have 12+ (or equivalent) years experience in business development.
  • Have successful raised extensive capital in private debt / direct lending strategies and continue to have a strong network in this field.
  • Experience managing and recruiting a successful sales team in an international organisation.
  • Desire to travel globally and meet with the large institutional blue-chip investors.
  • Ability to travel twice a month.
