Who we are:
We specialise in caring for individuals who have complex neurological conditions such as brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and Huntington’s Disease.
We are a friendly and highly skilled team who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of care through our resident-centred philosophy. Across our two specialist care centres, we offer permanent care, respite care and therapies to over 400 people every year.
We have 180+ Clinical Team Members, ranging from Care Assistants, Registered Nurses, Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapists.
Our residents also have access to a wide range of additional services such as:
* Physiotherapy
* Occupational therapy
* Speech and language therapy
* Our very own hydrotherapy pool
* Complimentary therapies including aromatherapy, reflexology, acupuncture
* Aromatherapy
* Reflexology
* Acupuncture
* Weekly organised activities
Specific duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to:
* Providing direct care to residents involving, washing, assistance with dressing, help with mobility and support with food and fluid intake
* Being aware and participating in the development of resident Care Plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs
* Providing ongoing support for the residents, their family and the Care Services Team
* Participation in resident activities and events held at the home
* Embracing the opportunity to develop skills and provide wider Care Services to residents
* Support residents to create a homely environment in their apartments, assisting with organizing their environment to promote wellbeing and independence
Our Sites:
We have 2 sites in Leamington Spa. Successful candidates may be asked to cover both.
(house 1) 57 beds
(house 2) 38 Purpose Built Beds
Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week – Full Time
7.5-30 hours per week – Part time
All Clinical Staff are entitled to a paid 30-minute break
Shift Patterns
Morning Shift = 7:00a.m – 2:30p.m
Afternoon Shift = 2:00p.m – 9:30p.m
Night Shift = 9:15p.m – 7:15a.m
Long Shift (if available & requested) = 7:00 – 9:30p.m (14.5 hour shift)
£8.61 Starting Rate
£9.11 per hour (NVQ Level 2/ Health & Social Care Level 2)
£9.61 per hour (NVQ Level 3/Health & Social Care Level 3)
NVQ 2/3 is payed for if you don’t have that already
£1.00 extra for nights
20% enhancement per hour for weekends
