Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced HSE Auditor to support the HSE Assurance Manager with the delivery of the audit plan, defining the inspection schedules and identifying key indicators for monitoring of HSE performance

As the HSE Auditor you will be required to; * Plan and undertake SHE audits with appropriate management support * Deliver audits in the other disciplines, utilise collaborative working with co-source resource, where required * Schedule health and safety audits with clients, based upon assigned responsibilities in fulfilling the audit plan * Support the development of the schedule for the annual audit plan * Provide information for periodic audit performance reporting * Deliver assignments to time, cost and quality targets * Provide independent assurance on effective management of SHE risks and controls to the business * Participate in research of SHE risks, and keep abreast of latest developments within associated industries. * Prepare and develop audit protocols * Identify and report the main issues conclusions and recommendations to business management * Discuss and communicate findings, conclusions and recommendations with management * Produce value added concise recommendations
The succesful HSE Auditor will have; * A relevant audit qualification e.g. Auditor for ISO18001( ISO 45001) and/or ISO 14001 and/or ISO 9001. * A minimum of 2/3 years within the HSE sector, preferably within a similar industry * Knowledge and understanding of HSE related legislation and standards * Strong analytical and organization skills with an attention to detail * Ability to maintain independence, and reach sound judgments based upon objective evidence, and show authority and assertiveness in the appropriate situations * Experience of delivering HSE audits and drawing out root causes in findings
The role can be based out of any of our sites across the UK but you will be required to visit other locations on a weekly basis, therefore a full driving license is required to be considered for this position.
