On behalf of a UK membership organisation headquartered in Buckinghamshire, we are looking for a communications specialist to join their organisation for 6 months paying up to £50K pro rata. They are looking for someone with extensive experience engaging stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition of their newly established chartered body. This role is a full-time post but for the right candidate they may consider working from home 1-2 days per week.
Key responsibilities: Lead on both External and Internal Communications in all aspects related to their New Chartered Body Identify key stakeholders and develop and implement plans to meet their respective requirements Work closely with the CEO as well as other senior management internally to ensure a clear communications plan is delivered Conduct executive level presentations and facilitate round table discussions Work alongside the marketing team and other colleagues to ensure effective messaging an engagement with the membership
The successful applicant must have: An excellent track record engaging a variety of stakeholders, from senior staff & corporates to volunteers. A proven background communicating on behalf of a professional body Extensive experience communicating both to external and internal audiences Exceptional written and verbal communications is essential Educated to a minimum of degree level or equivalent
