About the role:

As an Internal Communications Manager at Clarivate, you play an integral role in giving your colleagues more visibility to our rich Company culture, values, and business priorities. How? By developing and managing effective communication strategies and initiatives at all levels of our global organization.



Job responsibilities:

  • Partners with colleagues at all levels of the organization to creatively develop and deliver effective internal communications strategies for all areas of the business.
  • Effectively plans strategies across multiple channels (intranet, newsletters, webinars, videos, events, etc.) to deliver integrated communications programs to articulate our values, strategic priorities, and key messages -- as well as influence a positive culture and engaged workforce.
  • Will be lead on all London-based communications initiatives, including primary support for the Science and IP Groups and their leadership (based in London) but will work with colleagues around the globe.
  • Events management - both in-person (executive leadership team visits, Town Halls, colleague gatherings) and virtual (WebEx, Town Halls, etc.).
  • Video production skills - ability to record and edit basic videos for business use, and work with contractors on larger projects.
  • Helps to improve and maintain internal communications channels (including the Lens, Poppulo, Outlook, WebEx and other channels).
  • Shapes the perception of the company’s culture, value, brands, market position, and business potential through engagement initiatives and communications tactics.
  • Builds trust and credibility as a communications partner, providing the business units with best practice advice and support with comms planning, digital amplification, writing and editing.
  • Demonstrates the ability to help senior executives to build trust and respect with effective two-way communications.
  • Contributes expertise regarding special program execution.
  • Becomes an advocate on behalf of all colleagues and builds business acumen to effect change.
  • Called upon to write and edit high-impact communications in a variety of voices.


 Requirements:

  • 3-5 years communications experience (prefer internal vs. external)
  • Journalism or related degree preferred
  • Proficient in Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • Preferred: Intranet, video production
  • 10% travel max, possibly international
