As our Senior Java Developer, you’ll work on our software that connects 180 health and social care organisations across the UK to share 30 million patient records. Your role will involve working as part of our development team who’re responsible for delivering software requirements and resolving software defects, to make sure our software is to the highest possible standard and we can meet the needs of our customers.
We work in a lean and agile manner and use the very latest technologies and development practices. We provide a good mix of web application, high volume messaging, and big data development. Most important for this role is a willingness to learn and we’ll give you the help you need to succeed in your career with us as training is provided for all areas of work. Our working hours are flexible, and we even give you a Friday afternoon to research new technologies to help us push the envelope even further!
This role is based in our offices in Dundee but may require travel to our other offices in Leeds.
You’ll be part of our Healthcare Gateway development department, who’re a fairly small close knit team of developers and a head of development that are all passionate about innovation and what we do. You`ll have regular contact with the wider Healthcare Gateway team; including our sales, marketing, project management and product teams, so plenty of knowledge and expertise to help you to succeed in your role!

In over 120 Clinical commissioning groups across the country we mobilise important healthcare information to ensure that whichever health or social care setting a patient presents, the most up to date and relevant information is made available.
