You will be working as the personal private secretary of the elderly of a HNW entrepreneurial family with businesses across the globe. They have two residences in central London. You will be looking after their personal interests and well-being. You will have peaks and troughs in terms of activity levels. You may need to work flexible hours and sometimes there is little to do. However, you must be available at all times to deal with their household and personal schedules.

Duties

Be "on call" on a flexible basis
Coordinate and manage the home diary
Provide daily update as to what is scheduled for that day/week
Schedule doctor's appointments and accompany them to these appointments in order to translate and interpret from English into Chinese
Coordinate transportation arrangement
Liaise with the UK Home Office to manage visa extensions or applications
Manage a twice-weekly grocery shopping (in-store shopping is required sometimes)
Answer emails and personal mail where appropriate
Communicate with household staff across the two properties
Deal with all personal travel, booking of flights and accommodation, holiday insurances (when travel is resumed)
Liaise with family members where necessary
Be on-call for emergencies

Requirements

Previous administrative experience
Based close to central London
Native Mandarin speaker with fluent English
Translation and interpreting experience are a plus
Medical background is a plus
