Job Description

Medical HR Manager
Location - Southampton
Pay - £26 per hour LTD
Hours - 37.5 hours per week - 9-5
Start Date - ASAP - 2 month contract, potentially longer.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Medical HR team within an NHS service situated in Southampton. The successful applicant must possess excellent organisational skills, and be confident with dealing with customer queries. Applicants should have great communication skills and be able to work in a timely manner. We are looking to recruit a confident and experienced Medical HR Manager to provide operational Medical Staffing support the service. A medical background and knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
You will provide a comprehensive high quality, responsive HR service to managers and medical staff within the hospital. You will provide advice on medical terms and conditions, policies and procedures. You will maintain good quality records and progress logs of advisory and case work. The post holder will also manage specific projects as required.
You will provide Employee Relations support to managers with regards to investigations in accordance with Southern Health HR Policies and procedures, and in line with Maintaining High Professional Standards in the Modern NHS ("MHPS") and the Trust's Handling Concerns policy.
You will act at the link between medical staff and managers and Southern Health's Central Medical Recruitment Team, maintaining good records of local recruitment plans and maintain effective communication and promote good working relationships to ensure recruitment goes smoothly.
You will develop and maintain good relationships and communication with the outsourced payroll service and liaise with managers and medical staff to resolve any pay issues proactively and in a timely manner.
Person Specification:

•Knowledge of confidentiality and Data Protection
•Knowledge of Medical Terminology is essential
•A medical HR background is essential
•Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload
•Ability to work as part of a team
