Priory Hospital Burgess Hill is located in beautiful West Sussex and offers the opportunity to gain experience across many specialist mental health disciplines including Secure Services, a DBT Locked Rehabilitation service, HDU Services and Acute care.
With a CQC rating of GOOD across all 5 Key Lines of Enquiry, you would be working in a forward thinking hospital supporting our patients recovery alongside a highly skilled and dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Team.

Priory Hospital Burgess Hill are currently looking a Mental Health Act Administrator to work in their Mental Health Act (MHA) Office on a part time basis (Mondays and Tuesdays). Most days you will need to be in the office 9am - 3pm, however there is flexibility with the hours.
The role will involve supporting the Regional MHA Manager and clinical team by providing administrative support within the Mental Health Act Office. You will be involved in general administrative duties for the department, including receiving and logging Mental Health Act paperwork, and assisting / coordinating meetings and Tribunals on site for patients and their representatives. You will liaise with a variety of colleagues and external staff, including Solicitors, Doctors and Psychiatrists.
What do we need from you?
• Strong administrative skills - experience in an admin role desirable
• Skills to work in a busy setting, working towards tight deadlines and ability to prioritise
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with colleagues and external visitors of all levels. This could include via letter, phone, email and in person.
• Computer literate
• Experience of organising and coordinating meetings would be desirable
