We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RMN or RGN) to work within an integrated substance misuse team for a charity based across two sites in Burnley and Accrington. The successful candidate would offer support, information and nurse alcohol assessments to service users. They would provide interventions and promote harm reduction. Previous experience dealing with patients with substance misuse issues is essential. This is a great opportunity for a Nurse looking for a challenging but rewarding role where no two days are the same.
The working pattern is Monday - Friday, office hours. This contract is due to last until June at least, with the likelihood of getting extended or becoming a permanent position. Use of your own vehicle is essential as travel between the two sites is required. Pay rates are negotiable depending on experience.

As a Substance Misuse Practitioner you will be responsible for:
- Alcohol assessments
- Strong relationship building
- Clinical judgement
- Harm reduction
- MDT meetings
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Registered Nurse qualification
- Valid NMC PIN
- Experience in a drug and alcohol service
- Excellent communication
