Working Monday to Friday only, no evenings or Weekends! 20 hours per week.

Monday-Friday between 9am-5pm

We can't do this without you, so we're looking for an Assistant Nursery Chef to join us at our nursery in London Kilburn. You will support the chef in ensuring the children experience a variety of healthy balanced and nutritious foods throughout the day.

About our London Kilburn Nursery
All of our children enjoy a solid provision of childcare with tailored activities and experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. Play is vital for children and helps them to understand and explore a wide variety of subject areas. Our dedicated staff create programmes of stimulating and educational play including mark making, literacy and numeracy skills, role play and home corner activities. We encourage quiet time too and of course there's always plenty of time for reassuring cuddles and love, especially for the babies in our homely baby room.

Key responsibilities:
* Support the chef in providing healthy balanced, nutritious freshly prepared meals and snacks in line with food safety regulations and Busy Bees best practice guidelines.
* Support the chef in adhering to budgets and financial targets and forecasts according to actual attendance
* Assist in stock levels and ordering new supplies
* Managing the kitchen in the chef's absence
* Maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen, including regular high and low level cleaning of surfaces and equipment

You need:
* Food Safety or Hygiene Level 2 (Desirable)
* Good communication, organisational skills
* High Standards of personal hygiene
