Are you an experienced Toxicologist looking for a role in a new fast-paced, cross-functional R&D environment? Do you enjoy leading safety assessments for the development of high-quality products?
Compass Life Sciences is currently partnered with a world renown consumer goods company to find an experienced Principal Toxicologist that will act to identify, advise and lead the introduction of 'best practise' risk assessments and toxicological testing approaches. The chosen candidate will be at the forefront of Consumer Product Safety, leading technical discussions and identifying opportunities to streamline assessment processes and engage eligibility in product development.

The chosen candidate will be an expert in their field, providing toxicological guidance, direction and coaching to the Consumer Product Safety Team. The role will encompass a broad range of responsibilities including ensuring ingredients, materials and designs are acceptable, as well as the design of chemistry, pre-clinical and human studies.

Our client is looking for:
European Registered Toxicologist or DABT registered professional.
A PhD (ideal) or MSc in toxicology or relating degree + extensive work experience in an R&D setting within Consumer Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Tobacco, Food and/or Cosmetics Industry.
Principal, Senior or Lead role in most current position, providing expertise and direction to senior project stakeholders and skilled input on regulatory and general enquiry matters.
Expert knowledge of the principles of toxicology with the ability to translate into actionable outcomes to assess risk and effectively manage projects.
In-depth and broad understanding of consumer product safety (e.g., pharmaceuticals).
Experienced in impact assessments to interpret changes of direction, advise on impact and to deliver strategies for technical requirements.
Ability to advocate and clearly communicate a stewardship approach to enable effective business.
