Job SummaryWe are looking for a Product Specialist on a full time permanent basis, to be based at our Hichrom site in Reading and support our Chromatography product portfolio. In this role, you will perform market research and analyze market data, identify consumer behaviors and trends, and provide product launch strategies based on analyses to increase firm profitability. What you'll do on a day to day basis: Drive exceptional, above market growth for Avantor’s range of own manufactured LCMS separations products Manage daily tasks through the matrix structure to grow assigned products Achieve goals and contribute to corporate objectives Execute defined product plans Contribute to market research to ensure viable products and balanced growth Maintain oversight of product from the concept stage to market launch for assigned products Document product requirements and roadmaps for execution and sales Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development Maximize product impact by foreseeing customer demands Drive a robust pipeline of market relevant, consumer needs driven, science-based innovation Develop compelling global consumer connections Actively work to monitor the health of the respective business area, identify issues to bring to the management’s attention Communicate effectively, analyse data from numerous inputs, and respond positively to direction and guidance from Portfolio Management Understand and develop the correct connections and interactions with Services and Biopharma business units in order to maximize business growth opportunities What you'll need to be successful: Degree in Chemistry or related discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in Chromatography Knowledge of the scientific application of LCMS and related techniques Experience working internationally across cultures Fluent in oral and written English, knowledge of other languages is a plus Problem solving and analytical skills Ability to operate effectively within a matrix organization, integrating complex multifunctional efforts crossing multiple business areas What we offer: Along with a competitive salary , we also offer a competitive bonus and other incentives such as flexible working.
