Position - QHSE Compliance Coordinator Location - Swansea Reporting to - QHSE Manager Desired Experience & or Qualifications Higher educational qualifications to 'A' level/HNC/D or degree (or equivalent) would be beneficial Experience in a similar role and able to demonstrate ability to prioritise workload Ability to understand and interpret technical processes Experience of Microsoft Office application A good basic education is essential, with at least GCSE passes in Maths and English or equivalent. IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications Good PC skills, with experience in Word/Excel and Outlook (intermediate to advance level) Experience with CAFM and QHSE intranet systems Good Customer relationship skills Working knowledge of QHSE and Permit to work systems Typical Duties The role of QHSE Compliance Co-Ordinator will be to work alongside the QHSE Compliance manager in delivering compliance across the contract. Responsibilities for the role are detailed below but not limited to:
•Maintaining
the onsite QHSE logbooks, permit to work system
•Population and review of site Asset details through the CAFM system
•Sub-contractor co-ordination and updating of sub-contractor logbooks
•Ensuring statutory compliance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Undertake where necessary accident investigations and produce QHSE reports.
•To be a point of contact for QHSE queries and attendance to internal meetings, also be available to attend meetings within the business unit as a contract QHSE representative as required
•Understand, anticipate and deliver customer (internal and external) needs while building effective relationships.
•Positively respond to both our internal and external customers through effective communication and personal accessibility.
•Ensure that site logbooks are maintained and documentation is kept up-to-date and adhere to current legislation and company policy.
•To undertake accident investigations concerning both internal and external customers onsite and
produce reports and analysis for line manager and QHSE department.
•To carry out internal audits to ensure PAS99, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 standards are maintained. To produce operational and COSHH risk assessments when necessary. Have ownership of the 'near miss' hazard reporting procedure and uploading of reports for onsite management on a weekly and monthly basis. Assisting in managing of the Permit to work system and produce reports for onsite management on a weekly and monthly basis. To assist in ensuring contract 100% statutory compliance is maintained, which includes pressure systems, lifts electrical testing, fire safety systems, water hygiene, etc. Be a point contact for client and onsite team for any QHSE queries. Ensure that all Sub-Contractor documentation is suitable and sufficient for maintenance and reactive works. To also make sure Sub-Contractor logbooks contain up-to-date insurances, company certification, that site inductions have taken place and
engineer competencies have been received. To assist in managing all relevant waste regulations are adhered to across all service streams and documented for audit purposes. To develop a good working relationship with all members of staff and clients staff. Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required. Ensure a professional image of the company is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
