Job Description

Are you an inspiring person who can encourage individuals with poor health, disability or who have had an accident to re-learn or re-gain skills they may have lost? Are you looking for a career which you will find rewarding as you observe the progress the individuals make each day?

Our reablement team deliver this service on a daily basis, making a difference to individuals who could have lost their confidence, motivating them to achieve tailor made outcomes to re-gain their independence in their own home.

The best leaders are those who lead by example, so you’ll be a role model for delivering the warm and friendly service that our customers love. You’ll also be a coach, mentor and motivator to everyone on your team, helping colleagues to be the best they can be and ensuring the business keeps going from strength to strength by delivering the highest levels of customer care across our home care operations.

We are looking for:

12 months or more experience of working in a care.
NVQ level 3 in care or equivalent, or a level 2 and a willingness to work towards level 3.
Strong communication skills with a holistic approach to all aspects of support and care.
A natural leader who we can develop and coach through their supervisory or management career.
Availability to work alternate weekends.
Enthusiastic, motivated individual to work alongside other health professionals to encourage our service users to become as independent as possible.

As a leader, you want everyone in your team to give their all and they’ll take their lead from you. While you’re coaching and getting the best out of them, you’ll always be learning more about your job too and developing new skills for the future. With training and support we will help you keep getting better and better.

We need to work as one big team, so we’re looking for a passionate innovator who can inspire others.

A driving licence is essential for this role.
